This analysis determines the largest fluctuations (gains and losses) in market index performance during a specified period of time. The period of time can be day, week, month, quarter, year, or decade. The analysis will be performed for as many time periods that fall within the selected start and end dates. This analysis can be used to identify the best and worst market index performance during a specified period of time.

Select the fluctuation: Gain, Loss, or Gain and Loss.
Select the change metric: Close to Close, Open to Close, or Low to High. Open to Close returns the percentage change when the open and close values of a given time period are compared.
